Accessibility Information for Tours of Burnham Tavern Museum

Burnham Tavern Museum's historic 1770 structure was not originally designed to accommodate all forms of mobility assistance equipment, such as some canes, crutches, walkers, and wheelchairs. Due to features like uneven floors, small rooms, and steep, narrow stairways, some areas may pose challenges to visitors with mobility needs.

As the building is a National Historic Site, making structural modifications is unfortunately not possible.

We encourage visitors with concerns or questions about accessibility to please contact us before your visit. This will allow us to discuss your specific needs and explore any possible accommodations we can provide.
